BlueBird Cafe, Budapest, Hungary
2025
About Project
Website for BlueBird Cafe — a specialty coffee shop, brunch restaurant and roastery in Budapest, operating since 2012. The site presents the full offer — coffee, brunch and bistro dining — with table reservations and an online coffee shop.
Development
How did we bring the client's design to life?
The café provided its own design, and we implemented it faithfully on Django templates with a responsive layout — then built the table booking and the online coffee shop behind it.
Challenge
BlueBird Cafe is a specialty coffee shop, brunch restaurant and roastery in Budapest, open since 2012, with several locations. The café needed a website where guests find the nearest location, reserve a table and buy the café's own coffee online.
Solution
Working from the café's own design, we built a bilingual Django website in English and Hungarian. Guests reserve a table online, choosing the location and the number of guests, and a built-in online coffee shop with categories, pack sizes and a cart lets customers buy the café's coffee and pay in cash, by card or online.
What we delivered
- Django website with an admin panel
- English and Hungarian versions
- Pages for each café location
- Online table reservation by location and number of guests
- Online coffee shop with categories, pack sizes and a cart
- Payment in cash, by card or online
- Implementation of the client's design
